This is a typical Niagara Falls tourist snap-shot that was taken on a slightly hazy morning. The view is looking south with the sun above and from the left.

Details:  Canon EOS 10D digital camera with a Tamron 28-75 mm zoom len. Settings were 1/250 second, f8, focal length 28 mm, ISO 100.

In the edited image above, the sky was completely deleted. Then the picture was lightened to help balance the dim foreground. The "Poster Edges" filter in Photoshop Elements was used to create something approximating an ink outline graphic.

Finally, the brightness of the modified image was lighted again and placed back on top of the original image. The two images were then merged together. The horizon between the two images was very slightly blurred using a "Gaussian Blur" filter. This blurring eliminated a cut-and-paste appearance. The final image has the impression of a drawing with a clear blue sky.
